Abstract - A terminally ill patient – problems with definitions

Rehabilitation in palliative care is still a relatively new concept. Palliative care rehabilitation has been described as the restoration of a patient to a person. Terminal care rehabilitation at its best is the transformation of the dying into the living.
The occupational therapy and social therapy could be recognized as an excellent way to create the community of patients and integration of the entire group. It enables contacts with the other human beings and is an attractive form of spending time, furthermore it offers the opportunity to experience creative emotions connected with the performance of a given task.
The methods of influences for terminal ill patients like physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social therapy and nursing care can change their quality of life.
