Abstract - Badges and honorary pins used by Deutscher Dan-Trager und Budo-Lehrer Verband e.V.
The Deutscher Dan-Trager und Budo-Lehrer Verband e.V. (DDBV e.V.) was founded in 1979 and uses two different kinds of fabric badges to be applied to Karate or Jiu-Jitsu Gis. The standard badge can be worn by all members of the association, while the “Budo Lehrer” (Budo Teacher) badge is reserved for members of the association who have acquired the certificate as a “DDBV Budo-Lehrer”. In addition, there are badges of honour issued by the DDBV e.V. to long-term members and for extraordinary accomplishments fostering the statutory objectives of the association.
